Silkscreen or screen printing is a printing technique whereby a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a substrate, except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil.
This method of printing is recommended for designs that are not so colourful and for larger quantity orders.
Pros
- Cost for printing one piece is cheaper if you have enough quantity
Cons
- Requires a minimum quantity (>100)
- Unable to print full colour images
- Each additional colour and position adds to the cost
